Team fortress 2 xbox 360 update

We've made a bunch of minor changes by adding particle systems and upgrading the HUD to show things like deaths by critical hits, players that are overhealed, and giving more information to medics when people are calling for them. These are just to work on some class balance and depth issues that we've seen in the wild with these two classes, but aren't meant to replace their entire class packs. They will be getting more attention further down the road.

While that's in testing, we're off working on several things that folks have been emailing us about, so we thought it'd be good to provide some detail: The next class pack will be the Scout. If you have any ideas for what you think would work well, post them over on the Team Fortress 2 Forum and we'll take a look. We are actively working on a massive XBox update, which will include pretty much everything we've shipped on the PC in the last year.

In the meantime, we're going to get a code update out to address the server cheating that's going on. I'm not so sure if the updates are a good thing anymore Thanks a lot turbomonkey, you just broke my sarcasm detector, not cool man :p Anyways, i'll play along, CPUs can't do shit with data until it's loaded into RAM.

I would assume that by the time the update for the comes out, Team Fortress 2 would've made its way onto Xbox Live Arcade. I mean, it'd be rather pointless to put an update out for a game thats probably going to be harder to find on the shelf Microsoft wants to charge for the update, but Valve has a pretty stern track record of free content for it's games, especially TF2.

The PC community waited 9 freaking years for this game to come out and now their doing fan service. The reason I think I've heard Robin Walker give regarding cost for DLC on is that there were to be achievements for each class and Microsoft doesn't want people to get achievements for free.

I've been playing the PC version since release up until recently and have to mention that they've since removed the requirements for unlocking weapons, meaning that you no longer need to earn certain numbers of achievements to unlock new weapons. So the version might not see any achievements if the DLC does get released for free because there are currently steam achievements for the game. Remember that time when the Heavy was fun to play?

No, don't give up! Think way back to when you first started playing Team Fortress 2. Ah, the smile on your face tells me that you've made it there.

Difficult, wasn't it? The problem with the Heavy isn't that he isn't useful or that he is overpowered; these couldn't be further from the truth. He also holds my record for most kills in one life, at a solid 22 bodybags. So, in the right hands preferably a Medic's he is a killing machine. Too bad he is about as fun to play as a round of Monopoly. If you didn't chuckle at that joke, it's because you've never finished a round of Monopoly. Out of this comes the real tragedy of the WAR! See, the Eyelander, the Chargin' Targe, and the Equalizer are gimmicks when equipped to a Demoman or Soldier, but they would have revolutionized the Heavy.

Think about it. A Heavy that becomes faster as you damage him. I piddled a little just considering it. Or even scarier, getting bull-rushed by a Heavy that proceeds to lop your head off your shoulders! How could this have been overlooked? Where is the Valve I know? Why must the Heavy be left to die on the streets of Dullwood? I'll tell you why. Valve has lost touch with the original concept of Team Fortress 2.

Now try to stop crying, son, and listen up. This is where you and I come in. Who better than those whom have played the unchanged game for That's probably a thought that went through your mind in the last couple of seconds. Sorry to disappoint you, but this is only to report the results of the last poll and set up a new one. Overall, about as exciting as poll can be.

And then you look at the new weapons and wonder what the hell went wrong I'd like to tell you that things get better from here, but the worst is yet to come. We will get attention. We will have ours. I will take you there. Posted by Neal Kenneth at PM 3 comments:.
